Tommy came to us with Penelope after his owner passed away. After spending some time with them, we believe they will do better on their own.
Tommy looks like he may be a Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier mix. He weighs 13 pounds and has the energy (and the jumping ability) of a much younger dog. He loves to play tug of war and we're working on taking treats with a gentle mouth and not jumping up. Tommy wants to please and loves to follow his foster mom everywhere. He used to sleep under the covers with his owner.
He will do best in a quiet home without too many strangers to bark at. He's can live with another dog but cats will prefer their home without him.
Tommy is a sweetheart who is patiently waiting for his forever family!

After your application is approved, we will coordinate a time for a meet and greet with you and the senior dog you are applying to adopt.

If you (and your family) and the dog are a good match for each other, a home visit is then scheduled and completed.

After a home visit is complete, the adoption can be finalized and a new happy tail can be told!
