Snickerdoodle is just the CUTEST little nugget and we are thrilled to have him with us.
He is good with dogs, cats, kids, and even chicken - he loves any and all! 
He settled right into his foster home and has shown us that he knows how to live the good life inside. He loves to snuggle on couches and beds. 
He's house-trained and loves to be around people, but he doesn't really snuggle or be affectionate with people (we're working on that!).  He loves to sit on the back of the couch, or in the dog bed nearby, but doesn't really sit with you, or on you. His foster mom works from home and he's always in the same room as her, or with others in the household. He has free reign of the house and chooses to sleep next to their bed, or in the bed, and always under blankets. 
We think that he's about 6 years old and he is just under 8 lbs. He has a high-grade heart murmur that will require medication for life. His forever family will need to be able to support this financially ($80 per month), as well as continue to monitor his little heart with the help of their vet. 
Snickerdoodle would love to have someone home for much of the day, as he's not the biggest fan of being left alone for long periods of time. He is a great little independent dog who is happy to help around the house, yard and in the home office!!

After your application is approved, we will coordinate a time for a meet and greet with you and the senior dog you are applying to adopt.

If you (and your family) and the dog are a good match for each other, a home visit is then scheduled and completed.

After a home visit is complete, the adoption can be finalized and a new happy tail can be told!
