Luna is a just a sweet furball of love! She had a hard time for a while with a horribly infected mouth from absolutely rotten teeth. It was so bad that the shelter had to pull all of her teeth, so she will need soft food for the rest of her life. 
While she was totally shut down at the shelter, what an immediate transformation when she got here! She is now a total chow-hound. She is eating mashed kibble that has been softened by soaking, with some canned food and chopped poached chicken. And what a lovebug she is. Luna loves to settle into a nice soft blanket right next to you on the couch. She enjoys pets and belly rubs and giving kisses. She warms up to strangers quickly. She is housebroken and is happy sleeping in a crate or on the bed. She immediately warmed up to the two resident dogs in her foster home. She only barks when they do. Luna is frisky and loves a nice walk.

After your application is approved, we will coordinate a time for a meet and greet with you and the senior dog you are applying to adopt.

If you (and your family) and the dog are a good match for each other, a home visit is then scheduled and completed.

After a home visit is complete, the adoption can be finalized and a new happy tail can be told!
