Interested in adopting one of our senior dogs?

It's easy! First, make note of the dog's name and then move on to the online adoption application.

After your application is approved, we will coordinate a time for a meet and greet with you and the senior dog you are applying to adopt.

If you (and your family) and the dog are a good match for each other, a home visit is then scheduled and completed.

After a home visit is complete, the adoption can be finalized and a new happy tail can be told!

Lucas is a kind and gentle little soul. He's a neglected boy who ended up in the shelter as a stray. It's only up from here for him!
He gets along with dogs and cats and loves to snuggle with his family. He is very calm and affectionate, an incredibly easy-going dog.
Lucas has a little hitch in his giddy-up but gets around okay. Stairs are too much for him to navigate. 
He is about 15 years old and 12 lbs.
Lucas will likely always have some health issues but he's very happy and content. It's all about snuggles and kisses for Lucas!
