Kekoa originally came to us after her mom could no longer care for herself or her dogs. She was a little scared but settled right into her foster home and she was a delightful little house guest! Soon after her rescue, Kekoa was adopted by a lovely couple and they love her dearly. Unfortunately, they are increasingly having to cope with illness with the family and everyone agrees that it is in Kekoa's best interest that she be re-adopted to a new forever family.
Our sweet girl is very friendly and good with dogs and kids. She's lived with a cat at some point in her life so may be okay with cats.
Kekoa is one good girl! She is quiet and sleeps in an open crate every night and is house trained. She loves to jump on the bed when her parents are up there and her favorite thing is to be pet and loved on by them.
We think she's about 7 years old. It was recently discovered that Kekoa has congestive heart disease and she will need to be on medication for the rest of her beautiful life. 
Kekoa is a fantastic little girl who will be a great companion for a very lucky family! We want the very best for her and look forward to seeing her off to her new forever home.

After your application is approved, we will coordinate a time for a meet and greet with you and the senior dog you are applying to adopt.

If you (and your family) and the dog are a good match for each other, a home visit is then scheduled and completed.

After a home visit is complete, the adoption can be finalized and a new happy tail can be told!
