Interested in adopting one of our senior dogs?

It's easy! First, make note of the dog's name and then move on to the online adoption application.

After your application is approved, we will coordinate a time for a meet and greet with you and the senior dog you are applying to adopt.

If you (and your family) and the dog are a good match for each other, a home visit is then scheduled and completed.

After a home visit is complete, the adoption can be finalized and a new happy tail can be told!

Joey was found on the side of the road on July 4th, overheating and struggling to walk, as it was so hot out and who knows how long he'd been out there. We heard about him and there was no way he wasn't making his way out of the shelter! He is just the sweetest and most gentle old soul there is, and he deserves so much better than what he's had.
He is fine with other dogs, and is also good being an only dog in the home.
We think he's about 14 years old and he weighs 19 lbs. 
Joey doesn't ask for much, he's an easy keeper who enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He's a happy boy who looks forward to joining his forever and ever family.
