APPLY TO ADOPT
Interested in adopting one of our senior dogs?
It's easy! First, make note of the dog's name and then move on to the online adoption application.
After your application is approved, we will coordinate a time for a meet and greet with you and the senior dog you are applying to adopt.
If you (and your family) and the dog are a good match for each other, a home visit is then scheduled and completed.
After a home visit is complete, the adoption can be finalized and a new happy tail can be told!
GRACIE
STATUS: PERMANENT RESIDENT
Chihuahua/Mystery Mix
Spayed Female
Age: 15 years old
Size: Small
Special Needs: Yes
We are so thankful to have Gracie in our care. She ended up at the local shelter as a stray and we knew she belonged with us right when we heard about her.
Gracie is an old big dog soul in a small dog body. She was terribly neglected in her life and we have guesses on the life she had to endure. But none of that holds her back from being the sweet, sweet love that she is. Gracie loves everyone, all dogs, all people, and has lots of kisses for everyone!
Gracie seems to hear fairly well but has some issues with depth perception. No stairs for this girl! She's getting ready to have her teeth cared for and her poor mouth will feel much better. She has a high grade heart murmur but it does not hold her back from enjoying every day to the fullest.
She's about 15 years old and about 20 lbs.
Our sensitive sweetheart has a very tender heart. We are looking for a very special home for her where she's doted upon and lavished with all of the love that she so deserves!
