Terrier Mix
Spayed Female
Age: 12 years old

Our sweetheart Cynthia.
Cynthia was found stuck in a fence, unable to move. We don't know how long she was there but she was certainly starving long before that. She's blind and was so scared in the shelter, sick and shutting down pretty quickly. We heard about her and immediately whisked her away to safety. Despite all she's been through, she is a happy and thankful dog.
She is about 12 years old and weighs 8lbs.

Cynthia is quiet, will do her business outside when you help her get there, and is a very smart little girl. She is blind but makes up for it with her superpower hearing. Cynthia would be a wonderful companion for someone who works from home and can let her out when she needs to go or would do well going to the office with her mom or dad. If she is home alone in the day, she will be one of the first to happily make her way to greet you upon your return.
She's fine with dogs and cats and all people.
Cynthia has earned a place right at the top of our list as being one of the kindest, gentlest dogs we have ever met. She has the most tender of hearts and we look forward to eventually seeing her off to the loving forever home that she deserves.

APPLY TO ADOPT
Interested in adopting one of our senior dogs?

It's easy! First, make note of the dog's name and then move on to the
online adoption application.

After your application is approved, we will coordinate a time for a meet and greet with you and the senior dog you are applying to adopt.

If you (and your family) and the dog are a good match for each other, a home visit is then scheduled and completed.

After a home visit is complete, the adoption can be finalized and a new happy tail can be told!
