Our gentle and kind boy Adonis is settling right in and is the perfect house guest in his foster home. He loves other animals and all people and enjoys being pet and belly rubs. He is house trained, quiet, good home alone, and he likes spending time "chasing" the sun spots outside. We learned that he has been a service dog, and they don't get much better than this boy here. He is reacting positively toward his arthritis medication and he is happy to be much more mobile. We're working on getting him to an overall healthier place and hope to have him available for adoption soon.
He is about 8 years old and weighs 80 pounds.

Interested in adopting one of our senior dogs?

It's easy! First, make note of the dog's name and then move on to the online adoption application.

After your application is approved, we will coordinate a time for a meet and greet with you and the senior dog you are applying to adopt.

If you (and your family) and the dog are a good match for each other, a home visit is then scheduled and completed.

After a home visit is complete, the adoption can be finalized and a new happy tail can be told!
