Interested in adopting one of our senior dogs?

It's easy! First, make note of the dog's name and then move on to the online adoption application.

After your application is approved, we will coordinate a time for a meet and greet with you and the senior dog you are applying to adopt.

If you (and your family) and the dog are a good match for each other, a home visit is then scheduled and completed.

After a home visit is complete, the adoption can be finalized and a new happy tail can be told!

Addie was picked up as a stray and was never claimed. We heard about her and knew that she was a perfect match for us! She is happily settling into her foster home and is very grateful to be safe and sound.
She gets along with other dogs, interacted well with the shelter cat and lives with a bird in her foster home. 
We think that she's about 11-12 years old. She weighs 21 lbs and we are feeding her lots of groceries to get some weight on her. She can’t hear except very loud clapping a tiny bit but seems to see fine.
Addie would love a single story home with lots of carpets (for her sliding back legs) and tons of attention where someone is home most the day. 
Addie came to us with a mammary tumor and X-rays showed that her lungs were clear so it was removed. She is recovering beautifully from the surgery and will be good as new soon enough!
She’s loved everyone she’s met so far as long as they pet her!
