Interested in adopting one of our senior dogs?

It's easy! First, make note of the dog's name and then move on to the online adoption application.

After your application is approved, we will coordinate a time for a meet and greet with you and the senior dog you are applying to adopt.

If you (and your family) and the dog are a good match for each other, a home visit is then scheduled and completed.

After a home visit is complete, the adoption can be finalized and a new happy tail can be told!

Turbina came into the shelter with her four siblings after her parents left the country and the remaining family member was unable to care for them.
She is 10 years old, weighs 16 pounds, and has quickly made herself right at home in foster care. Turbina has already shown us she’s a champion sleeper, an enthusiastic eater, and a world class snorer.
While she can be a little shy at first, Turbina is incredibly sweet once she knows she’s safe and cared for. She is really starting to come out of her shell, seeking out her foster family for affection, following her foster mom around the house, and happily joining in on little adventures. She loves sleeping on the bed, is eating well, and is even beginning to ask for walks.
Turbina is also learning house training and doing great. She will thrive in a calm, quiet home without young children where she can continue to build confidence and feel secure.
She is scheduled for cherry eye surgery on April 14 and will be ready to head to her forever and ever home afterward.
